This policy explains how Apex Flow uses cookies and similar on-device storage. Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or app. We also use browser storage (local storage, IndexedDB and the service-worker cache) which behaves in a similar way and is covered here too.
What we use and why
We only use cookies and storage that are strictly necessary for the app to work, or that remember a preference you have chosen. We do not use advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with anyone.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Essential | Keeps you signed in and identifies your account and company on each request. | Until you sign out or the session expires (up to 30 days) |
| Security cookie | Essential | Protects sign-in forms against cross-site request forgery. | Session |
| Redirect cookie | Essential | Remembers the page you were trying to reach so we can return you there after sign in. | Session |
| Cookie notice (local storage) | Preference | Records that you have seen this notice so it is not shown again on this device. | Until cleared |
| Display preferences (local storage) | Preference | Remembers light/dark theme and the high-contrast setting. | Until cleared |
| Offline data (IndexedDB & cache) | Essential | Stores form drafts, queued submissions, photos and app files on your device so the app works without signal and syncs later. | Drafts until synced or discarded; app files refreshed on each update |
Essential storage and offline working
Because the app is designed to work on site without signal, it must keep forms, photos and queued submissions on your device until they have been uploaded. Clearing your browser data, uninstalling the app or resetting the device will remove any data that has not yet synced. Please make sure the sync indicator shows everything has uploaded before clearing storage.
Managing cookies
Because we only use essential and preference cookies, the app does not offer a separate opt-out: blocking them would prevent you from signing in or working offline. You can delete cookies and site data at any time through your browser or device settings (for example Settings › Privacy › Clear browsing data in Chrome, or Settings › Safari › Clear History and Website Data on iPhone). You will need to sign in again afterwards.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy if the way the app works changes. Questions can be sent to [email protected]. Our Terms & Conditions also apply to your use of the app.
